Bedford, MA. Nice progressive state and on the east coast.

Miami, FL or Atlanta, GA?

Atlanta. Seems like a better place to raise a family with more liveable areas for the middle class. I think I'd prefer the more temperate climate over Miami's as well.

Davenport, IA or Evansville, IN?

Evansville in Indiana which is very financially stable and I assume less prone to floods vs the great Mississippi

Huntsville, AL or Greenville, SC?

Odd point of fact that Evansville sits squarely on the Mighty Ohio and is equally at risk of flooding. Possibly more so since the Ohio is wider at that point.

I'd go with Greenville SC, nothing against Huntsville. I'd just prefer being closer to the ocean.

Memphis or Birmingham?

Memphis or Birmingham?
That's why I said I assume and wider is not necessarily bad

Memphis for the music and no state income tax

Billings, MT or Idaho Falls, ID?

I'd choose Idaho Falls. Billings seems like a little more fun but Idaho Falls is in an equal sized metro, gets a tad less snow, and is a half-days drive from SLC and Boise.

Sioux City, IA or Rapid City, SD?

Rapid City because I think South Dakota is more interesting than Iowa, plus Rapid city has unique weather.

Seattle WA vs New Orleans LA

Seattle for me. It has the more diverse scenery nearby(mountains, lakes, ocean) and with the exception of this year and a few other times, the summers are more manageable. New Orleans may have the better nightlife, but I prefer 4 season climates and more diverse scenery.

Akron, OH vs Charleston, WV

Akron, OH. The area has a colder and snowier climate, as well as being fairly large and close to a major population center in Cleveland.

Barrington, IL vs Coral Gables, FL.
