Johns Creek, GA or Weston, FL?
Johns Creek since I'd rather live in metro Atlanta than metro Miami, but Johns Creek is one of the last places I'd live in metro Atlanta. Nice and upscale for sure, but too far from the core of the city and way too Stepford Wives-ish for me.

Dover, DE or Beaufort, SC?

I'll take Flint and move to one of it's nicer suburbs and not worry about availability of clean water or earthquakes and whatever else.

Detroit or St Louis

Chicago

Lake Michigan waterfront, great amenities, festivals, food. Milwaukee and Madison are nearby. Could get used to the 4 seasons climate. Summer heat is for a shorter duration than Houston's & no hurricanes. Closer to people I know in WI & MN.

Denver, CO or Philadelphia, PA ?

Philadelphia. Some of my favorite neighborhoods in the world are there.

Columbus, OH or Austin, TX?

Catalina Island... If I'm going to live on an island, I'd prefer it be one with great weather year-round.

River Rouge, MI or Lackawanna, NY?

Lackawanna, NY

As for the city propers, I just know that River Rouge is near Detroit and Lackawanna is near Buffalo. Similar climates. Slight edge to Lackawanna as it is near a few places I would like to visit: 25 miles to Niagara Falls; 100 miles to Toronto; 130 miles to the Finger Lakes region.

Juneau, AK or Key Largo, FL ?

Goodness, that's a hard one! I've vacationed in Key Largo ... come hurricane season I wouldn't want to be anywhere near it. But the winters of darkness in Alaska would be intolerable.

How about I winter in Key Largo and summer in Juneau?

High Point, NC or Salem, MA
