Birmingham. I'm not a fan of the Texas coast and Birmingham seem to be making a surge.

Columbus, OH or Indianapolis, IN?

Columbus. More character in its neighborhoods and OSU gives it vitality.

Crozet. I love VA and love the Charlottesville area. Very beautiful and more affordable than NoCa. Really wouldn't want to live anywhere in NoCa.

Champaign, IL or South Bend, IN?

Champaign. Although the college in South Bend is much more popular nationally Champaign seems more hip to me than SB. It’s also growing much faster.

Keene NH or Waitsfield VT

Keene... much bigger city with a pretty vibrant core and strong university presence. It's also more centrally located with respect to the rest of New England.

Ann Arbor, MI or Columbus, OH?

Ann Arbor especially after they beat OSU this weekend. Closer to the Great Lakes and Detroit Airport.

Clemson SC or Harrisonburg VA

Columbus. I lived there for a year and liked it. Though Ann Arbor has its charm, I just like the Columbus area better than the Detroit/Ann Arbor region. It's on the upswing, but for now, I'd choose Columbus.

Richmond, VA or Harrisburg, PA?

Richmond. Both are state capitals. I’ll take the promising upside of Richmond over the next 15 years and it’s location equidistant from coasts and mountains.

Clemson SC or Harrisonburg VA
