Merced, CA or Indio, CA?
Indio. I wouldn't really want to live anywhere in CA, but I would like being in the Riverside/San Bernardino area more than a small area like the Modesto/Merced area. It's not too far from LA and all of its offerings.

Charlotte, NC or Raleigh, NC?
Hmm. I think both are very nice, and I could happily live in either one. But, based on what posters in CD say, I'll go with Raleigh. According to some people, Charlotte is more "corporate."

Hempstead, NY. East Coast Location is preferable to me
Colorado Springs or Albany NY
Colorado Springs. I love that area. Really beautiful, nice people, great climate (IMO), and not as out-of-control expensive as other locations out west.
