While I really like Dallas and FW even more I'm not a huge fan of the north Dallas suburbs so I'm going to go with Murfreesboro, TN at the risk of the "cuz it's TX" gestapo coming after me.
Don't sleep on the North Texas Mean Green in Denton 3/2
This one is easy Russell Wilson > Kirk Cousins so Seattle it is. Though the cities are much closer in desirability than the QBs.
Lancaster CA or Reno NV
Reno... While I'd prefer to live in Southern California over Northwestern Nevada, Reno seems like a much more desirable city than Lancaster, and Lancaster is far enough (1 hr+) from the hustle and bustle of the LA core that I probably wouldn't get to enjoy living in the metro area to anywhere near the full extent from that location.

Columbus, OH or Sacramento, CA?
Columbus. I lived there for a year once and really liked it. Great people and affordable. I really don't want to live anywhere in CA. Sacramento isn't bad, but wasn't as impressed as I thought I'd be for an metro of 2.5m when I've visited.
I'll take my chances in San Jose, CA. Detroit has very low cost of living for a lot of reasons.
Jacksonville, CA vs. Portland, OR
