Harrisburg, Pa. or Portland, Me.
Harrisburg due to location and it comes off as being bigger than its population states for the city proper.

Johnson City TN or Harrisonburg VA?

Harrisonburg... Both seem like great places to raise a family, but I like how Harrisonburg is more diverse and its proximity to the DMV is a bigger sell to me than anywhere within 2 hours of Johnson City.

San Diego without a doubt. Beautiful weather. Although I dislike its suburban sprawl, but I could live with it. WI is too cold for my taste.

Avalon, NJ or Provincetown, MA

Oh, that's easy: Castle Rock.

Never been there, but I'm confident it's a less depressing place that Erie, PA. A friend in Philly refers to "Dreary Erie" as "the mistake on the lake."

Winston-Salem, NC or Greenville, SC?

Winston-Salem. Not as "popular", better transit system, more affordable with more housing options. I'm also a mild fan of the Demon Deacons.

Newark NJ or Tulsa OK?

Newark... Thriving downtown area and solid public transit options to Manhattan. Much more desirable regional area is ultimately the biggest selling point.

Midland, MI or Midland, TX?

Midland, MI or Midland, TX?
Midland, TX. The petroleum industry has the area's economy humming. Just seems to have more going for it compared to Midland, MI.

Portsmouth, VA or Portsmouth, NH?
