Murfreesboro. It's a nice growing city, close to Nashville, which I love. The only downside is the warm climate.

Lincoln, NE or Mobile, AL?

Mobile captures a little of the Franco-Caribbean vibe that New Orleans has. Plus it's a waterfront city and has some great areas skirting the bay to its east: Daphne, Fairhope, Point Clear et al. And the beaches are no more than an hour away.
I feel a little guilty blowing off Lincoln, though; I had an aunt an uncle there and always thought it a pleasant, clean, All-American little city.

Jersey City, NJ or Long Beach, CA?

Raleigh... Larger, more cosmopolitan metro area. Being just a few hours from the beach is nice too.

Holland, MI or Germantown, TN?

Holland, MI

The Lake Michigan coast is nearby and Grand Rapids is just 30 miles away. More comfortable summer weather. Closer to people I know in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Don't know anyone in Tennessee or near there.

Fort Wayne, IN or Grand Rapids, MI?

I would choose Fayetteville, AR due to the scenery and educated population there.

Wilmington, DE or Chattanooga, TN?
