Has the best economy in South Dakota. Puts me much closer to the Minneapolis area (for occasional visits) where I grew up and still know some people. Also is reasonably close to Omaha and Des Moines. La Jolla, both are very nice wealthy enclaves, but La Jolla is still incorporated within San Diego making it feel like less of a bubble.
