ABQ. I have never been to either and honestly don't know very much about either, but my inclination is that ABQ (and Santa Fe perhaps more so) are more intriguing and unique destinations than El Paso.
You couldn't pay me enough to live in either. No, really, you couldn't, at least not in my line of work (most journalists don't pull down six-figure salaries, though New York Times journalists probably do). But if you could, San Francisco, the smugness of its residents notwithstanding.
