Fort Smith, Amarillo is just too flat and depressing for my taste.

Alpharetta, GA or Knoxville, TN?

Alpharetta... More prosperous and diverse area. Proximity to Atlanta is a big plus as well.

Blythe, CA or Silver City, NM?

Ames, IA

Ames has easy access to I-35. Iowa City is a nice city and may offer a little more in its city proper. I may have chosen it back in my 20's, but am in my 50's now. Ames is closer to Des Moines (less than 40 miles) and also is closer to the Twin Cities area where I am from and still know some people. Iowa City (U of Iowa) would be a challenge, especially in the fall as I still cheer for Minnesota teams. They are Big Ten rivals and play each other every year. Minnesota seldom plays Iowa State.

Denver, CO or Long Beach, CA?
