That's a tough one. Thermopolis seems like the better city, but with Battle Mountain you can escape to Lake Tahoe with a 3 hours drive drive.

I think I'm going to go with Battle Mountain, NV so I can drive to Sacramento for Job interviews

Both nice but I would think Potomac might be a little less stuffy, Greenwich would be too over the top for me.

Fullerton.

Colorado is too dry and brown, and I prefer LA to Denver. Plus, I like the beach more than the mountains.

Visalia, CA or Riverside, CA?

Riverside... It's located within a more populous and interesting region of California.

Beautiful coastal town with very nice historic downtown and a nice sized Div I college (UNC-Wilmington)

Columbia SC or High Point NC?
