Philadelphia. I like Pittsburgh better as a city, but it's location is a huge drawback for me. Stunning as they may be, mountains are not my thing, the city is far too isolated and Appalachian culture doesn't do it for me. Having access to a relatively affordable, walkable, bustling urban Northeast metro in the heart of the BosWash corridor is unbeatable. Philly hands down.

Richmond, VA vs. Rochester, NY

Rochester. People keep telling me it will be harder for me to deal with the cold when I get older but I'm still waiting. I much prefer the climate in NY to VA. Plus I like the Great Lakes.

Baltimore or St. Louis?

Yikes! If these were the only to cities I could move to I'd go with Baltimore as it's beautiful and familiar as I live in Richmond but its still scary.

Chicago. Just sounds like a better city and I'm from the midwest so I'd probably fit in better

Columbus, IN vs. Columbus, GA

Chambersburg. I like that area of PA. I pass by there semi-regularly whenever I drive I-81 through PA. Beautiful countryside and nice people. Just not interested in the PNW.

Dayton, OH or South Bend, IN?

Dayton, OH or South Bend, IN?
Dayton seems like it could be a hidden gem. Somewhat trendy, good food, strong community. Plus it has some good urban bones and interesting history. The character of Dayton seems more attractive to me than the somewhat bland South Bend.

Phoenix or Atlanta?

Phoenix or Atlanta?
Atlanta. 4-season climate. Though it's humid and hot Summers don't bother me, I prefer Atlanta's heat to Phoenix's triple-digit heat. Atlant's more green, lush. Near the Atlantic.

Boston, MA or Minneapolis, MN?

Boston, MA or Minneapolis, MN?
Minneapolis. Less pretentious.
