Whichever one that emerges that is most healthy when the US breaks into pieces.

I would venture either PNW, a mountain region, Texas-ish, or New England. Each with their own benefits far outweighing drawbacks.

Simple Definition of rant
: to talk loudly and in a way that shows anger : to complain in a way that is unreasonable

First, you can't hear me talking - which may be why you think it's a "rant". Second, nothing I said is unreasonable. Sorry.

With that being said, responses to posts breed responses to those posts. It's kind of natural.
You don't think it's unreasonable to argue that the US should abandon the city of Baltimore? Seriously, enough of this.

Baltimore is deceptively healthy - much like the US in general.
I have a feeling someone from Baltimore stole your lunch money when you were growing up.

Out of 100 people in a CD thread. There is a lot more to personal preference in life than just what's discussed here. Regardless, I think Seattle has a better reputation for good reasons.

Yeah, this is not a fair fight. Baltimore vs Detroit and Seattle vs SF are more reasonable comparisons.

Consider:

-In the last week, there have been 11 homicides in Baltimore, while there have been 10 in Seattle for all of 2016

-There are 34 cities in this country with more than 500,000 people, Seattle is 4th in population growth among them since 2010, Baltimore is 2nd to last

-Baltimore MSA was bigger than Seattle's MSA until the mid-80s. Today Seattle's MSA has nearly one million more people

-DT Seattle has 250,000 jobs, DT Baltimore 120,000

-Baltimore MSA's wealthiest county, Howard, is boosted by higher paying jobs in the adjacent DC MSA.

-Sea-Tac handles 4 million international air passengers a year, BWI 800,000

Let's talk about property crime, human trafficking and child prostitution. Seattle will be on top, guaranteed. People just looove these new trendy cities and wanna overlook their problems like they dont exist. Typical white america.

I bet traffic is much better in the Baltimore area as well. Seattle traffic is beyond repair and just horrible 24/7 rush hr. Not enough roads to accommodate the growth and all the granola people don't wanna build any new freeways or expand em. I used to drive in NYC so I dont say this lightly, its just that bad.
Let's compare MSA. Bmore will win easily.

Seattle's homicide rate has gone down dramatically recent years, and 2016 has been a particularly good year in that regard. However, Seattle's overall violent crime rate (including assault, rape, and robbery) is actually about average for the US, and is higher than Los Angeles.

Except for one thing. I can guard my property. Guarding my life is harder.
