Orlando was the second fastest growing metro in America last year. After Austin.
*Over 1 mllion people, please dont troll with the "Actually the Villages!!!"
I would have to agree with Orlando it's currently the fastest growing metro with over 2 milllion people in the nation! That's not even including The Villages, winch is technically the fastest growing metro in the US. Nashville gets alot of hype, but it's currently not even in the top 25 of growth. Maybe the 2017 estimates will reflect.

Fastest growing cities is highly contingent on the size. Of all cities, Murfreesboro is ranked 10th fastest growth rate in the country. My native state Texas has 4 of the top 10.
Among large cities, Nashville has been placed at various points among the top 20 over the past four years, ranging in actual numbers (not rate) from 7th (2014) to 19th (most recent stats)
Not that Nashville growth has slowed, but there has been a surge in relocations to Texas and Florida in the past 3 years based on high tax states making people seek new places to live.
I vote Atlanta. Tons of New Yorkers moving there. It seems more popular of a destination than even Raleigh. Raleigh seems to have more upstate people, while Atlanta has more NYCers.

Winch is why I referred to metro areas specifically. I understand that Nashville is growing rapidly, but most of the other metros are just growing faster. During that period that Nashville added 38k, Orlando added 59k.

Yeah statistically the winner of the question is Austin or Orlando considering metros over 1 million people.
Thuis year will be definitely Orlando by far since an estimated 100,000 people fled to Metro Orlando last year from Maria.
Nashville is not in the Sunbelt. However, I would vote for Austin which is changing more rapidly in several categories.
Huh? It absolutely is.
