Just to add, many of those said recruits and their family members went to Nova Scotia and New Brunswick in the Canadian Maritime provinces.

Maybe your part of New England but most of CT is in the Tristate area and is a big part of the New York Metropolitan area.

One county of CT is in the Tristate. It takes two hours to get from New Haven to NYC. Please give this a rest.

Also Southern New England has lot to do with NYC. Please give this a rest also-not you, anybody.
