Cary by far, being outer suburbs of nearby state capitals of sunbelt states, whereas Columbia is a college town and isolated from a nearby larger city.

Cincinnati based on size, economy, and things to do. Indianapolis and Cincinnati both have pro sports, more shopping, and are very Midwestern. I think Indianapolis has improved a lot and it has a lot of white collar jobs.
