Cincinnati based on size, economy, and things to do. Indianapolis and Cincinnati both have pro sports, more shopping, and are very Midwestern. I think Indianapolis has improved a lot and it has a lot of white collar jobs.

Is Denver, CO more similar to Austin, TX or Kansas City, MO?

I'd say Kansas City. They both have better infrastructure and are more similar as far as climate. Is Hilton Head SC more similar to Key West FL or Provincetown MA?

Key West due to climate, southern culture, and being islands.

Is Charlotte, NC more similar to Birmingham, AL or Atlanta, GA?

Atlanta, GA. Top Southern economies plus lots of transplants. Also both are in coastal Atlantic states even if the cities aren't coastal.

Is Memphis, TN more similar to Utica, NY or Binghamton, NY?

Utica due to their similar histories with cotton crops and economic decline. They also share larger airports and transit centers.

Is Oklahoma City more similar to Nashville or Austin?

I'd say Nashville. Both are located on I-40, both have colder winters on average. Is Oakland CA more similar to St. Paul MN or Ft Worth TX?

St. Paul based on culture and being more urban like Oakland.

Is Tampa, FL more similar to Charleston, SC or Baltimore, MD?
