Thats what I said, the pandemic years are starting to mirror the 90's for some cities
It's even worse because, overall cities are roughly 5 years older than they were in the 1990s, and the age group most likely to be committing the crime while it hasn't physically shrank, is a smaller portion of the population. So if we start matching 1990s rates that means theirs's actually more crime than normal, among the most affected age group.
Didn't think Baltimore had room to increase but it's at 130, up about 10% from last year. Baltimore never recovered since the Freddy Gray incident in 2015, hope we don't see all these BLM/Defund cities continue like this.
