Was wondering how you got 39, but I see you're counting all types of homicide offenses. It's up a good chunk from last year.

New York City at 38. A 11% decrease from last year. Very surprising to see that the increase from last year has stopped but it might be due to the constant snow.
^ I think its the snow. People in neighboring nj dont go out here anymore because its just so cold and snowy and gross right now... hopefully it stays this way when it gets nice in a month or so.
Palm Beach County, Florida (a county with over 1.5 million people) has just had it's first homicide since December 7th 2020. Pretty incredible streak for such a populated and urban county.
