Is the early 20's gonna be the new early 90's? Probably not, but it's looking like it for a lot of cities.

Any updates on the VA/NC cities?

Seems like it unfortunately. But both Chicago and Philly seem to have slowed since January, but probably going to be a really bad year anyway. I think Philly will break it’s all time but I’m not sure about Chicago.

This is only for homicides though. I think the reason why homicides have lagged behind other declines in crime is frankly because of the types of firearms available. Back in the 1970s, most handguns in the streets would’ve been .38s and what not. Nowadays that .38 is a glock that can hold 30 shots. There’s a reason why the UK has a much lower homicide rate while their violent crime isn’t far away from the US’s and it’s because of the lack of illegal firearms.

Maybe not that bad but the worst since then. With the way things are going, they could make a remake or sequel of Boyz N The Hood.
