Once again, more assertions without data to back them up. If you're white in Canada you have the same chance of being involved in homicide as a white person in America. To praise Calgary like you are is to praise its lack of diversity relative to most American cities.
Calagary is actually pretty diverse. Just not many people of African descent obviously.
Lol, yeah sure, all those mass shootings in Canada, eh? Just stop, it’s just so silly for you to even say that!
There was just a mass shooting/murder this week against Muslim families in London, Ont. It's extremely insensitive to be pretending Canada is immune to them when there are literally grieving families in Ontario right now.

Instead of getting your data from tv news stereotypes, do a little research. The homicide rate for whites in Canada is the same as it for whites in the US at around 2 per 100k annually.
I think Cleveland sure has a lot more character than Calgary and a much richer arts, culture, and architectural heritage.
Obviously Calgary is much wealthier, Calgarians are exceptionally well educated, it's vastly safer, has a far superior transit system, is spotlessly clean, has absolutely no areas of urban decay, is surprisingly multicultural, has parks and open spaces to die for, and being near Banff is just icing on the cake. Even it's winters, although can be science fiction cold, get relatively little snow due to being so dry and get regular reprieves due to the very warm and dry Chinook winds that blow in off the mountains raising temperatures as much as 20C in a single day.
Calgary is an exceptionally "pleasant" city with a very high quality of life, it's just not a very interesting one. Calgary is the kind of city that you couldn't help but like but then at the same time would have a hard time loving.
