Literally just got back from LA and it's easily LA unless you factor in COL. Maybe DFW beats LA on the high schools but LA is on a whole different level.

Eh, I think both areas have really bad schools and really good schools. I'd call it a wash. Give LA the edge in higher education though.

Yep, UCLA, USC, Loyola, Pepperdine, CalTech and CALPoly are way better schools than TCU or SMU

Yep, and drive an hour or two out of both metros and it gets even more lopsided.

To Redlion’s point though, it’s easier to get into a good HS in DFW than it is in LA
