Last year, Chicago had 261 through 5/31 and 83 in June. So I guess if I cut 2021's June in half, that's 41 in the first half, so the 270 compares to about 302 last year. 10% cut. Wish it was more, but at least it's a cut.

Fall River & Cambridge (2 of the states largest cities) still at 0 Homicides
Chicago- 273
Hot day literally, and with that five homicides in five different neighborhoods. One of the homicides was shooting man killed at the CTA redline on the south side in daylight. It follows a pattern of having no murders for a couple of days and then the next day there are multiple. It's like a quiet comes before the storm.
Neighbor up north heading towards around 220 by the end of the year. A 14 year old girl who was suppose to graduate 8th grade on Tuesday was shot and killed in city's northwest side.
A double homicide happened inside of a 7-Eleven in the Kiln Creek area of NN. That brings their total to 11, compared to 13 this time last year.
