Not only is Boston skyline way way longer it also has significantly more "skyscrapers"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...listed%20below.

https://www.wikiwand.com/en/List_of_...ings_in_Boston

^Boston has 22 buildings over 500 feet, whereas Philly has 14.

Philadelphia has 32 buildings over 400 feet. Boston has 37.

In a city with 1/3rd the land area of Philly.

To me, this is all pretty evident when I drive into both cities. So combined with the Gap, the Citgo sign, and the fact that Boston's tallest building has been around 45 years longer. this poll is interesting. Boston to me looks significantly more built up in its skyline. But shorter at its peak so Philly has more of a "crown"

More recognizable skyline: Boston or Philadelphia?-8d436086-e1f6-4577-bfa4-05e681c6f64f.jpeg

Photo by Me. Even here I couldn't fit the whole skyline. Some of the notable buildings here I had to crop out. Including the whole Seaport area which would be to the right of the frame.

But alas even that image you posted misses a lot of the skyline.
What’s surprising to me is that Philly’s skyline has changed so much since Rocky, but Boston’s still looks really similar to how it looked in Legally Blonde or the Departed. Like what media shows either Comcast Tower frequently? Does “Always Sunny” have a lot of skyline shots?

Always sunny did have a few shots of a skyline silhouette of Philadelphia, but it could have been any other city.

Hold up- how?

one Dalton and Millennium Tower are the 3rd and 4th taller buildings… both built since that movie. Not to mention the entire Seaport…. plus that huge brown northeastern dorm

Philly has a better skyline but I don’t think there is a more recognizable shot than Back Bay from across the Charles.

I voted for Philly not because of quality of skyline, or better skyline, or number of high rises, but because I can recognize it faster. Unless I misunderstood the OP?
