The Mason Dixon doesn't carry as much weight as it used to. NO ONE thinks of good ole' Dixie when they think of Baltimore.

Because Baltimore is in the South just like Richmond, Norfolk, Atlanta, New Orleans, and Miami is part of the South.......

DC is in the North, not the South. DC can't be the gateway to the South; it is American, not Confederate.

hold on, lets back up here

some poster said something along the lines of "baltimore doesnt feel southern and thus maryland isnt a southern state"

you then replied: "Next time take a trip to the Maryland Eastern Shore and Southern Maryland........."

what im asking you is if ALL of maryland (including baltimore) is southern culturally, why would you feel the need to tell that gentleman to travel to southern maryland? wouldnt baltimore, being southern culturally in your opinion, be all the evidence he needed?

basically with that comment you ceded that baltimore is NOT culturally southern, and that to find southern culture in the state of maryland one must travel to southern MD or the eastern shore.

I said before and I will say again that if you are going to stereotype Baltimore as not being Culturally Southern then Atlanta, Miami, Richmond, Norfolk, and Houston is NOT Culturally Southern based on BS Stereotyping Standards being opinionated as to why some would want to believe that Baltimore is not Southern..........
