Honestly, you wont find ANY new yorker defending Florida, or any state in the sun belt for that matter. But then again they're not originally from Florida, so I guess it's not there job. And who defends Florida?? Maybe in the Florida forum once or twice, but in general polls you RARELY hear anyone defending it. If you do hear somone defending it it's probably me.
I knew New Mexico would be on this list.. but I dont think it so much bashing from the CD Forum.. Its the recent Media.. Third most dangerous state WTF??!
New Yorkers? New Yorkers are the main ones bashing it. They like to vacation in MIA. But other then that, the ones that live down there cant stand it, and bash it every chance they get.
I don't understand why so many people bash New Jersey. It's pretty underrated, if you ask me. It is lush and green in most parts, has a lot to do (beach, arts, shopping, entertainment, golf, etc.), and has some of the most beautiful suburban towns in the nation.

If so, look across the Hudson, directly at our neighbors. NJ dares to be itself in the ever glorious shadow of NYC. I know, I know.......... How dare New Jersey be so bold as to try & exist in the same proximity as the all powerful, all knowing people of NY. How dare we try & compete for business & educated persons?
We should be strung up by our feet & burned at the stake for such a treasonous act.
If you look at NJ's history, we have certainly benefited from our location, but we have also paid a heavy, heavy public relations price in return.
NYC prides itself on its unbridled provincialism. NJ is first & often to feel the media wrath of NYC.
It has always been our crime. LOCATION............
The states I see being bashed the most in order is California, New Jersey, Texas, and Florida.
The people that bash these states are molstly people that live in the midwest or in the south. that's what I noticed. these people actually go out of their way to go to the California board and then go into one of the threads just to bash it and they are always from some small state. Most of them are not ex residents, they are just people that generalize and stereotype. it's rediculous and is way out of control.
