Well that would be good advice, if I was provoking them, but they do remind me of Texas. Hill country.

and to think I live within an hour and a half from all of those places. That's not counting the Adirondacks too.

OK, I've had enough of this argument...

KNEEL before your God!!!

New York... the only state where you can find a Texas-sized waterfall... :-)

Or how about a Texas-sized snowfall... (Tug Hill, baby!)

Or a Texas-sized park...

Please also note the Texas-sized claw marks (Finger Lakes). That's the Hand of the Great Spirit that did that, and don't you forget it!

You see, you have to reason with them in terms that Texans can UNDERSTAND... :-)

Does TX have any natural lakes, or are they all those dam Army Corps of Engineers projects?

I just want to say that this thread has turned out to be quite an interesting discussion as opposed to just petty arguments. The pictures have really made it more than pleasant. Texas and New York are easily the states with the most pride and they are rightfully so IMO. I remember one time my family and I were waiting in the Boston airport, and my parents got to talking with this couple that owned a vineyard and winery in upstate NY. They ended up sharing contact information, and they still email each other occasionally. That's my little anecdote for the day.
