Okay, let's see....

I think I'm going to say we could do well without California and Nevada. California is a bit too overrated. I've lived here for over 27 years. As much as I don't like to say this, it is not the same place anymore. There is much more to life than mild to warm sunny days for long periods. Nevada has too much legalized gambling and alcohol usage. And it is too dry.

Mississippi and either Alabama or Arkansas.

Reason: They're more backwards than the letter U!

And just what does "backwards" mean to you exactly? I'm guessing you have never been to any of those states, you're just going by what you see on TV.

Yeah!
Who needs NASA, the army's Missile Command, or the second biggest research park in the nation?

Nothing like a bunch of redneck rocket scientists, physicists and engineers.

I had heard that The Stennis test facility was the largest, but didn't know it was in Mississippi.

NASA permeates dozens of areas of the County though, it does not solely exist in MS and Alabama (even thought the original was started there)

Since I have been suggesting selling California to the Chinese to pay off our debt to them, that's my first choice.

Can we count Washington, DC in with the states? That would be my second choice.

You can't get rid of NY. Just on the food, alone, it's a keeper.

California, my native state, because it's ever so politically correct and anti-everything that's American.

Alaska because it's frigid and spawned Sarah Palin!
