I agree, I agree.

Yes, his statements about the (North) East Coast are spot on

Best of the South: Hardworking friendly people

worst of the South: Some rouge racism in some parts of the boonies

Best of the midwest: charming small towns and friendly people

Worst of the Midwest: tornadoes

Best of the West: the scenery

Worst of the West: nothing

Of course not everyone in the South is a right-wing Christian military veteran and not everyone in the North is a PETA-loving socialist, but as a whole, yes, the South is more traditional, the pace of life is not as despicable, and the people are not looking to bite your head off at every turn. If you think highly of the Northeast though, by all means I'm willing to switch places with you.

Why are you still there? You should move. I moved to the South (Atlanta) and don't enjoy it here very much so I'm moving to San Fran.

Why are you there? move to the slow rural, "real american", patriotic, gun totting, cow tipping, confederate flag bearing lifestyle your looking for.

Northeast
Pros: Architecture, intelligent conversation, northern accent, history, NEW YORK baby
Cons: COLD, COLD, provincial thinking, napoleon complex (feels the need to bash the south because the south is now on a level playing field), (needs to get over it lol), did I mention cold, cost of living

South
Pros: diverse accents, economy, laid back, weather, ATL, MIAMI, NEW ORLEANS, African Americans
Cons: lack of planned development, a lot of people with limited thinking, cul da sacs, conservative in some places

Midwest:
Pros: I'm not there, Chicago (the most beautiful city I've seen)
Cons: the weather, the economy,

West
Pros: CALI, liberalism, tech savy, great fruits, weather, scenery
Cons: don't know yet, maybe liberalism lol

Best - Some of the nicest people on Earth, great pace of living, traditional American culture, great food, beautiful landscape, people who aren't obsessed with being radical pseudo-Marxist atheist vegans, THE REAL AMERICA. God, I love the South.

Worst - Humidity (Which I will take any day over these horrible Northern winters
I always wanted to know... Is gay-loving, over-spending, club-hopping, liberal Atlanta "real America" since it is in Georgia? (I know dumb question... I'm expecting a dumb answer)

I agree, and I don't hate the South, I love it down here, I was born and raised here, but your statement about things being traditional down here is just a stereotype. If you go to ANY big city in the South, you're going to find the SAME, liberal, peace-loving, tree hugging, people as you would up north, and if you go to the RURAL areas, things in those areas stay the same and tend to be conservative. SAME thing up north. I'm sure you've been to a rural area up north, it's NO DIFFERENT then a RURAL area in the South, same conservative right-wing, anti-government, pro-gun people. It's all about URBAN, and RURAL, RATHER then NORTH and SOUTH. Trust me.

Northeast
Best: major cities and the closeness of them, there's always something for someone to do. The middle aged-older people are actually keen and easy to deal with (I appreciate quick wit too). City layout. Good food all over. Philly, NYC, Pittsburgh. No need for a car*

Worst: I guess the weather (I have a bunch of friends from up North and can't think of anything negative about them). Cost of living solo (*I'm paying my way through school and selling drugs isn't an option).

The South
Best: Pretty good weather, ATL, Miami, New Orleans, Houston, the bigger cities trying to establish themselves, middle aged-older folks who mean well*, cuisine. ACC basketball and football, the 2010-2011 World Champion Braves, the Falcons.

Worst: summer, no proximity between our larger cities, *(but) let tradition/the old way of doing things impede them from ________. UGA and the rest of the SEC. Mike Smith's allowance of Mike Mularkey's awful playcalling against NE, NYG, and CAR. *The pharisaism of some churchs down here along with the followers. (*This goes hand in hand and tradition can cause a person to be willingly ignorant of a lot of things).

The Midwest
Good: established cities, pretty good proximity of the cities, Chicago, Ohio, Twin Cities Milwaukee, nice folks. Big Ten(eleven).
Bad: The upper midwest is too cold.

The West (don't have much experience with the West).
Good: nice folks, nice looking terrain, laid back atmosphere.

Bad: Bloods, Crips, and MS 13.

I have been to 46 of the 50 states, so yes ive obviously been out of the midwest. I have been to crazy California, the peoples republik of New England, the Soviet socialist Republik of New Jersey. Ive seen with my own eyes the insanity that exists in certain parts of this nation.
