I was just going to say that.

Anyway,
Bay Area companies are among the most powerful brands in the world. According to the 2008 Interbrand Index, 10 of the World's 100 Most Powerful Brands are from the Bay Area.

Not bad at all.

It took me a while since I haven't heard of these towns like Melville and Rye Brook (Westchester), Port Washington (Long Island) so I had to look them all up to see if they were part of the NYC metro.

Thanks for counting up all of metro NYC. You counted all the NYC Metro, including NY, NJ, and PA? Hopefully you didn't count Fortune 1,000 companies as the list is Fortune 500 companies only.

I didn't do PA. I just did NY/NJ/CT. And yes, I only looked at the Fortune 500 Companies.

Don't forget Fairfield and Litchfield Counties in CT!

That would include General Electric out of Stamford.
