Like I said earlier; Chopped and screwed never really blew up outside of Texas. HYPHY is still a West Coast thing imo.
Hyphy is strictly a bay area thing, but a lot of other regions tried to jump on. As for spade and the others who dismissed hyphy, do you like Mac Dre? Spade-I am not huge on hyphy or chopped and screwed, but to dismiss a whole genre like that is hard to do. Surely there are some hyphy songs that you wouldn't think to be garbage?
mac dre put out like 500 albums, yet ive found only a cd-r's worth of actual good songs in his entire catalog.. most overrated bay area rapper of all time.

I strongly disagree, but that's just me. I am a huge fan and like damn near every track he ever put out, especially his older pre hyphy stuff.

I gave it a chance. No, I really didn't like it at all. When it comes to chopped and screwed, I can't count on one hand how many songs I like and I won't use many fingers.
