You are not even lying. Other songs to light up to (chopped and screwed):

"But the last three songs are from the same album!" That album is just so right.

I looks like from the past couple pages that both sides don't know much about each other scenes. I listen to both so it's whatever. Also, it doesn't matter if it's big names or not, Houston is very versatile. No way can anyone come in here and say that HISD sounds like K-Rino or Street Military sounds like K-Otix or Z-Ro sounds like Gangsta nip. Sorry. I 100% disagree with it.

NOTE:

http://bestsmileys.com/signs2/20.gif (broken link)

Ok, some complaints have come in and a few newer ground rules on this topic need to be set.

If you want to post a link to a youtube video of a song that contains the F-bomb or MF-bomb, do so, but DO NOT embed the youtube video within your posting. Just post the URL. That way if folks want to hear it, they can click the link and go off-site to listen to it directly on youtube, but the parents can't complain because it's embedded within the post here instead.

So to repeat - if the HH song does NOT contain R-to-X rated language, then you CAN embed it here. If it DOES contain adult language, just post the URL to the youtube video and that's it. Otherwise it will be deleted, and if too many keep coming in, the thread will be closed.

Thanks.

Z-Ro and SPM and K-Rino aren't all that well-known outside of TX either, and San Quinn is at least as well-known as they are.
Spice 1 and the others I named are not what I consider big. I could go out on the street and ask about them and not many people will know about them.

Ok I disagree with this big time. It must be an age thing but if you ask any random hip hop fan in Texas over the age of 25 or 30, they know about Spice 1. They know about trigger's got no heart. They know about his stuff. Heck, he's originally from Waco. But still reps Cali as that was where he was raised. Spice 1 isn't big mainstream wise but in the streets they know about him.

It doesn't matter what you consider big, b/c he is big regardless. Maybe you need to change of what you think is big in hip hop, b/c spice 1 was a big as it got at one time or another. One of the greatest rappers of all-time.

I doubt it and when I think of big name rappers from the Bay area; I think E-40, Too Short, Tupac, Digital Underground, and a few others.

Most people who know anything about rap know about Spice 1. BTW he was born in Waco and lived there until he was 5. I remember years ago watching either a vh1 or mtv show on the 100 greatest rappers of all time and spice 1 came in at around 30. Pretty impressive for a rapper who wasn't mainstream.
