Yeah I go out of my way to pointedly follow up any use of "Chi-town" with the proper city name.

"So you're from the Chi?"

"Yes, I am from Chicago."

"What's it like in Chi-town?"

"Do you mean Chicago? Well, it's..."

Seeing as I don't want a woman, love me some Chipotle, and don't do a lot of shopping, I'm a-ok in Chicago. I think I'll stay put.

And if you are black defending Chicago you should really kick yourself in the ass because the city doesnt even want you here. The first time any repairs were done on the streets of the south side was when ****in Daley wanted to impress the Olympic Committee. This city sucks pure D Ass yet everyone is ready to defend it like the princess on Mario. What a joke.
Every aldercreature receives a budget for streets and sanitation projects - if the streets aren't getting fixed, people ought to complain to the alderthing.

Makes sense. I thought you were perhaps a Chicago Defender (no pun intended) disguised as a NY'er. Which sounds far fetch, but believe me these people will go far to defend this place. Which you will fall in love with for about a year and a half before you run back home asking why were you so lucky to be subjected to this tomfoolery. You'll see.

that would be a fact, jack. just like the fact that the black neighborhoods have overwhelmingly voted for Daley for 20 years.

honestly, Chicago is definitely full of the biggest bunch of buck-passers in the world. if you don't like something, do something about it.
