while i do prefer the chicago the hot dog... definitely prefer nyc style and even new haven pizza... easily is better
imo.
chicago deep dish and stuffed is just a mess, greasy, not so hot... even when i lived in chicago not many people ate that stuff. at work we'd always order the thin style like from bacino's or something, same with any event... don't really recall deep dish being ordered... if it was, it would be like 1 deep dish and then 6 thin crusts. i think more tourists eat this than locals, but could be wrong. eating the deep dish is equivalent food hangover of thanksgiving dinner.
pizanos thin is also good..

Cheese and sausage is nonsense?

Here's a pizza I got from Phil's on 35th St in Bridgeport the other night.

I was referring to the Hotdogs, that pizza looks nasty with the sausage though.

Yeah, they really lay the sausage on which I think is a good thing. Phil's uses a very high quality and tasty sausage and the pizza bursts with the flavor of it. Crust is a little thicker and breadier than many Chicago thins which have a crackerish crust. Phil's is an "old neighborhood" place in Bridgeport, a blue collar neighborhood on the near South Side. Irish, Italians, Poles, Lithuanians, Mexicans, Chinese. Real Chicago.

NYC hot dogs taste better because they are simple.

"More is less" is what Chicago's hot dogs are. Yuck.
