I have a nice picture here of Miami taken from somewhere in Miami Beach, it looks pretty recent too.

Image removed by Moderator due to copyright issues - Flickr is fine, but this image had a photographer copyright logo on it - cannot use. See room sticky for details

Yesssss, Yesssss Clean_Polo....that shot of Miami gives me what I need! I love Philly's skyline, but as the pics and a personal visit to Miami will indicate, Philly's skyline can't touch it even on the clearest day-lol.

Yes, I agree! The first and third shot (especially the first) gave me what I wanted! Philly's skyline is very impressive, but Miami's has the edge in both volume and sheer enormity. Way more eye candy in Miami, but Philly is no slouch by any stretch of the imagination.

This is what Miami's skyline will look like in a couple of years, the only buildings that I don't think will be going up anytime soon is those 2 tall World Trade Center looking ones, but everything else is a go:

oh yeah, and that's only part of the skyline lol.

Ohh I know it is! Miami has one of those skylines that's virtually impossible to capture in 1, 2 or even 3 shots. That's why I was floored when I saw the results of the poll. Either we're looking for two different things, or most of these voters haven't visited both cities in person. Miami's skyline wipes the floor with Philly's in person; Miami Beach's skyline alone spans for miles! I'm overdue for a trip to Philly, but I'll be in Miami next week. I love it!

The thing about Miami's skyline is that the construction boom only started a couple of years ago, so people don't even realize how big the skyline has gotten over the years. It was so quick, and there is still construction going on now. The other thing is that people always feel some sort of way about Miami's skyline "it's only a bunch of condo's stuffed together" things like that just show how jealous people can get, especially when they don't realize that there are plenty of other buildings in downtown Miami besides condo's. It's ok though I'm glad you enjoy Miami like I do.
