This is the only brick building(Gusman Center of the Performing Arts) that I know of in all of the Miami-Dade area,a rarity in this city.Flagler Street and Miami Avenue is as old as it gets in Downtown Miami, the rest is pretty modern

Imagine plopping Miami's 55 square mile city boundary on top of downtown Philadelphia and tell me which is more dense? And I just looked up both Philly and Miami in Wikipedia and the density numbers don't support what you are claiming.

Don't be. And although I'm opinionated, I would never be enough of a fool to believe my opinion stands for The Truth.

Miami is 36 square miles not 55 which is somewhat of an indicator that you do not know what you are talking about in the first place.

Really? 55 square miles includes the water within Miami city limits - look it up. Or are you going to tell me that water around Miami doesn't exist?

Wow. You must have really went out of your way to find the water rights area added in to the land area. I mean seriously, who uses the land and water boundaries when calculating density figures? Ofcourse there aren't any people living out in the ocean surrounding Miami. You're going to try to use that against Miami to say it's let's dense than Philly? Pretty desperate aren't we?

I gotta say. No picture or video I've ever seen of Philadelphia looks that impressive. But of course Philly tries to look like a little New York City and that makes it and every other Northern East Coast city flat out superior to all other American cities.
