Not singling you out as there are many on here that are not truly slang just shortened versions of old sayings, others are just comical for what they mean in other languages or areas.

dictum meum pactum is latin for My word is my bond been around for many years obviously.

dunny is Aussie slang for toilet

gravy isn't slang unless 80 year old italian grandmas have been speaking slang for the last 50 years or more.

someone had ya dig= you understand as GA slang, that goes back to the 60's and 70's. Maybe it can be considered recycled slang.

cuttin up= acting a fool is another old one, goes back to the 50's

fa real= means really?, I don't think changing the pronunciation of for to fa should really count as slang

And come on someone actually put, yonder= over there, as slang? Might as well go hang out with Opie in Mayberry

I'm in my late 20's... I remember a long time ago growing up when Orlando was friendly and people were..... well..... American. Now, as the video illistrates, different time now. It's pretty sad.

Well Puerto Ricans are very proud... I think they are the most proudest people I have ever met lol. Also the other people that I have seen that are the most proud are the NYers and the Jamaicans But let's not get into that because this is about City Slang

I can tell.

That's fine but when you would rather be elsewhere (so it appears), why not move back?

I see the stickers and the flags everywhere in Orlando.

It seems to me you have an issue for people display where they are from or their nationalities... Isn't this a free country?
