Yes because we all know that's all it will take to put L.A. over the top, one more tall building. How absurd that is! Miami can and will build taller than L.A., count on that.

Miami in appearance, but LA's is definately more impressive when you add in the other Business Districts...So it's not really fair to compare the two being that they are built up differently unless we are strictly speaking architecture

Miami, becaue you can actually see the skyline, and it is still building.

The LA skyline. Looking at the skyline from the east really shows its density as well as lots of its old grand bldgs.

LA's skyline is great, it may lack a few buildings but it looks great at night and sunset. It is very photogenic. Movie and TV show makers know that. The US bank tower really helps though, I admit that without it, the skyline would much less attractive. IMO, LA skyline is the third best skyline in the US behind NYC's and Chicago's.

I voted LA, not for the skyline tho, la should be ashamed of how pathetic and embarrassing its skyline is for a city of its size, but those mountains are so pretty, I guess im just a sucker for mountains, living in tejas we have everything minus mts.but Miami is a pretty city even if the skyscrapers are small, but I would like to visit both of these beautiful cities

LA has the height. Once Miami gets a supertall soon, my opinion will change...
