Of the larger cities I've been to, probably Indy, or Hartford, Conn (which was a big disappointment).

Of the smaller/midsized ones...Akron or maybe Toledo.

On a postiive note: The suprisingly NON-boring smaller/midsized city for me where these two:

Portland ME
Syracuse NY

No large city with over 1.5 to 2 million people is boring YOU ARE boring. big difference
Please just close this thread down it serves no purpose but to encourage trolling and useless bashing.

Charlotte is boring as a tourist. Living there however isn't half as bad. There are much worse places you could be, even the same size or larger. I miss living in Charlotte.

What makes a city boring in your opinion?

One thing Phoenix can say is it's not the most boring of the top 10 largest cities in the country.
So are you officially little brother to two cities now?

A city is only "boring" if you make it boring. Obviously not everyone will like Charlotte, doesn't mean it's boring.

I don't think Charlotte is boring at all. I can see why it wouldn't be an attractive tourist destination though. There is enough tourist attractions to keep one busy in their free time if they happen to be there but it's not a city to go out of your way to vacation in, with an exception being NASCAR fans. It's a great living and working city. Charleston and Savannah are better vacation cities.

Why the hurt feelings? I've seen you say you love your "sleepy little burgh".
