Hey, I thought I already answered the question.

Anyways, there's about 43 hospitals in the Houston city limits. This includes the 13 in the Texas Medical Center.

In the metro area, there are 115 hospitals.

This isn't a research paper for publication its an internet forum. You should be happy I gave any source unlike half the posters here that just make up numbers to suit their needs. When I can easily track down real sources I do.
