Overall, Houston flat out has more tall buildings. Miami just has the density. If all of Houston's skylines were merged together it would look just like NYC & Chicago too with one continuous skyline view. There are only a couple of angles in Houston which create that illusion & they're rarely seen photographed.
I've seen that angle, it's VERY linear.

The second one at night with the metromover doesn't look futuristic? It looks just as futuristic as any of the ATL photos I've seen.

That would also apply to ATL. Besides the Peachtree building, MOST of the buildings in which I saw posted resembled that of contemporary modern-day "big-business" architecture. Not any more futuristic than Miami, which was my original point.

The only futuristic looking cities listed as options are LA and Vegas.

The rest of the cities do not resemble futuristic in any way.

^Either you need to get out more, or this is nothing more than the usual anti-Southern bias shining through.

Houston has the 3rd tallest skyline in the country.
Miami has the 3rd largest skyline by number of buildings in it's core region.

Also to the person that posted the pictures of the heavy rail/commuter rail from LA. No offense but it does NOT look futuristic at all.

This light rail looks 100X more futuristic than LA's heavy rail.
