Im taking a lunch break here at work and decided to check in here and what do I see? California getting all of the photo glory? No, no, no.... Let's even things out a bit.

Alaska isn't ALL glaciers and forest ja know. I digress:

Yeah, I'm basing my vote of of CA's diversity. I keep hearing AK is more diverse than CA, prove me wrong. I've just seen the pics of the EXTREME diversity of CA, so prove us wrong, especially for how much smaller CA is then AK.

It sounds like you have seen more of Alaska than California. I'm in Oregon and visited California a few times, and have seen much more down there than you described. With all the land mass in Alaska, though, there should be a lot of scenery to choose from.

Does Alaska have any cool deserts or rock formations? Did you ever spend time around Trinity County, in CA, or the Smith River, for example?

What would you say are the nicest looking agricultural regions in Alaska?
