Clearly started by someone from Atlanta. This is a rediculous question. NO COMPARISON. This would be like asking "Which vehicle is faster, a bicycle or a motorcycle?", then debating on the people's "opinions". Urban density is a measurable TANGIBLE quality, and ATL does not compare. Case Closed.

The better question is "Who cares?"

If your biggest measure of "urban" is compactness then obviously San Francisco comes out on top. After all, it is located on a 7 mile wide peninsula....

To the OP:

If you going to pick a random picture of atlanta, at least pick one from this century:
