As for the whole, "you can put on as many layers as you need to stay warm vs. you can only take off so much clothing to stay cool" thing, I can't ignore the cold no matter how much I put on.
100-110 isn't that bad. I'm out hiking, in the backyard all summer. Sunset's great for grilling and the pool, the night's feel great. The hottest it got this summer was 116 on one day and even thats not the end of the world. Shorts, t-shirt, pour some water on your head, not a big deal.
I can guarantee you that 99.5% of all humans would absolutely say that temps over 100ºF are god-awful. No one likes heat like that unless they're mentally ill or a reptile.

You must have a lot of time on your hands if you've communicated with 99.5% of the world population and reptiles to come up with this...lol. I'm wondering if all people living in areas with temperatures over 100ºF would appreciate being referred to as mentally ill.
Minnesota is only brutal cold about 3 months of the year while Phoenix is miserably hot a good seven.
Don't exaggerate, Phoenix miserably hot for 7 months 4 months maybe.
December, January and February aren't the only brutal cold months in Minneapolis, they suck the most i agree but March and November with temperatures of just above 40F in the day and around 25F in the night is still brutal cold imo.

The vast, vast majority of people consider over 100 degrees to be "too hot." The small handful of people who enjoy it strangely feel that everyone else does, too, and they're simply lying about it. Funny how people who enjoy the cold (like me) never extrapolate in that fashion.
OK now it sounds as though you are simply trying to bait in this thread. Have a great day as I do not intend to participate in your ignorance.
What's evident here is the fact that you are unable to follow a fairly simply comparison. People moving to an area isn't surefire evidence of the area being "more livable" as contended. I pointed out that the state with the highest in-migration (North Dakota) would, under this "logic," be the most "livable" state in the Union. I think most of us can agree that this is not the case, ergo the original comparison made = silly.

See I think 40 degrees is actually quite nice if one is dressed appropriately. You can still do thinks like running and other outdoor activities. Running even in dry heat at or above 90 is exceptionally uncomfortable for me, and there is an elevated risk of dehydration.
