Miami-Dade reaffirmed its selection of Ansaldo Breda,and in November 2012, approved the $313 million purchase of 136 new Metrorail cars from the latter. Miami-Dade issued the notice to proceed the following month, with the cars expected to be delivered starting in 2015.
The new PATH railcars do indeed have TVs. No Washington Metro cars have TVs, though I believe the 7000 series cars currently on order will have that amenity. I'm not sure about the New York subway cars right now, but I'd guess some of the newer cars on some of the lines (L line?) would have TVs, though most of the railcars would not.
I like the train cars of the DC Metro, NYC Subway, LA Metro, and Atlanta MARTA.
