San Fran is a world class city. I would love to visit someday, But I would rather live right here in Tampa.

I love the weather here more, and the water offers more recreational opportunities. Plus, I don't need to live in a world class city to make myself feel important.

I would also like to inject my opinion about the "Bay area" argument from the last SF vs TB thread. Even thought I live in Tampa, if I ever heard "The Bay Area", and it wasn't on local tv, I would think of San Fran/Oakland. Its a larger, older, and more notable metro area. But If someone ever said "The Bay", I assumed they were talking about Tampa Bay. But I don't understand why someone wouldn't know Tampa was on a bay. If you know the name of our sports teams and had half a brain, its common sense.

Tampa's beaches and florida location trump the faux urbanism of the bay area IMHO.

San Jose= Suburbanesque

SF is like some boutique city, one big tourist attraction, much like Disney World in Florida.

I don't really feel like beating on SanFran today, so just give it a rest.
