However, someone who could respect my politics — and MAGA have issues respecting any but their own, I’m glad to know this.

I think it would be lovely to be in an area where you can walk to restaurants, shops, pubs, etc. Willoughby sounds like a nice area. I quite used to driving everywhere, because I grew up in areas (Florida) where it was part of life.

You made mention in the other post about the thunderstorms. I’m eager to experience those.
So it's fine for you to attack MAGA but MAGA is supposed to sit here quietly taking it, is that how you passive aggressive operate?

(OBVS, that's the LEFT for ya. Stir the pot then complain when you get it back)

I reported your post but don't worry. Nothing will happen on City Data if you're LEFT.

Liberals think I'm too conservative, while conservatives think I'm too liberal. I just shrug.

I try hard to give the impression that I don't even think about politics. If someone (from either side) starts talking political stuff to me, I just nod politely and don't say much.

I get along with people from many different political persuasions, and could live almost anywhere regardless of the dominant political attitude.

Arguing politics is boring. I mean just take a ride in Ohio to any rural part and there’s still huge Trump signs in their lawns and no Biden signs. All that means is that people just follow each other in their little limited po-dunk inner circle and have no mind of their own and this coming from someone that thinks all the presidential candidates that were offered to us were not qualified for the position. Go to another state that’s blue and you’ll probably see the same thing with Biden signs. Just shows that people don’t do enough research on their own and just side with whatever family and friend are doing lol.

This is my general tendency as well. I think people focus way too much on this stuff nowadays. Tribal identities.
