Goldsboro Milling Company is planning to shut down it's hog production operations by mid-2021 due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and low prices.

The 2021 Wings Over Wayne airshow has been postponed until 2022 due to COVID-19.

The city council has approved the new art sculptures for downtown. Most notable tidbit is the mention that the final phase of the Center Street streetscape project is complete.

A brick-breaking ceremony for a mixed-use development is being held downtown tomorrow morning at 139 W. Walnut Street. It's planned to include 63 residential units and over 11,000 sq.ft. of retail space.
