That roundabout at Hollywood Xroads will be the entry point letting you know you are in Greenville, even though the city limits isnt until Kittrell Farms light. Hopefully some of the corridor will improve as part of this project, specifically the mobile home communities along Highway 43.

I wouldn't be surprised if Greenville tried to annex that area.

Has anyone noticed at the intersection of Greenville BLVD and Red Banks that there are, what looks like, cell towers going up? I looked up 5G towers and it looked a lot like a few I saw, but I haven’t seen any announcement on what they could be. If we are getting 5G, that’s freakin’ awesome!

I haven’t seen them but they may be microcells. Microcells can be used for 4G, and they lay the groundwork for 5G, but I’m not aware of anyone that has us on the list for 5G at the moment.

AT&T had licenses for microcells downtown on Greene Street and near the hospital but ditched them for some reason.

Not exactly big news, but I’ve just noticed sound barriers were being built along the entrance of US-264 (from Raleigh direction) into Greenville.
