As a follow-up to the above RE: Gotcha--tentative agreement is for operation of electric-assist bikes, and EV ride-share. The rideshare vehicles look like extended-cab golf carts and would be operated within a two-mile radius of campus by members of the Gotcha team.
The latter is interesting for a couple of reasons: operation off-campus will require city approval as these vehicles are not designed to operate on roads, and ECU's denial of scooters/Lime is, in part, due to their desire to promote active transportation. EV rideshare accomplishes neither of these, although I do applaud them for recognizing that micromobility is a legitimate mode of transportation and effective method of reducing congestion.
Fun fact: in Winterville (Mayberry) you can ride one of those or even a golf cart on roads <=35mph. Just need one of those orange triangle caution signs on the back.
The mayor used to drive a golf cart around town and one of the councilmen has one of those egg shaped electric cars. I can't think of what they are called but East Carolina Chrysler used to sell them.
Let’s avoid another “Find Yourself In Good Company” ridiculous tagline, otherwise I support this although I think it would’ve been more innovative to have ECU and PCC students conducting such a study.
Harris Teeter to close the 1400 Charles Blvd location. Was told from a store manager at another location. I remember going there when I was a kid.
I heard this last week, but I couldn't confirm the rumor. Odd timing, considering they're getting a new apartment complex right across the street. Perhaps the rent went up? I know the two larger stores cut their operating hours and are no longer 24 hours.

Allegedly, ECU bought the shopping center. Dollar General is moving to Rite Aid, but no other information is known at this moment.
