Yes, but not a lot. I will donate more when I'm no longer paying off my loans lol. I would have never been able to go to the school I did without alumni donations, so I am thankful and would like to help give the same opportunity to others.
No. Short of the New Guinea tapeworm, I can't imagine a more bloodsucking thing on the planet than my former alma mater given how much money I had to pay them.
Now, their endowment is larger than the GDP of some small nations. Yet perky students continue to call me and plead for donations, even though I've threatened to sic the dogs on them. They must have figured out that I don't own any dogs. I guess the only thing left to do is file a restraining order.

Funny thing, they keep finding me wherever I move (a lot and all over). The letters asking for $$ come in the mail regularly along with the campus BRAG publication.

If I am ever in a shipwreck and marooned on a desert island, I am pretty sure the people who find me won't be the Coast Guard or the navy, but the alumni office.
I'll probably donate to my specific college or something. What I'll never donate much to is my private high school. Their tuition per year is more than my state's NON-RESIDENT tuition for medical school. If that can't cover their operating costs...
